“ Had luch with my sister...very happy with the atmosphere, the service and the food was awesome. Haven't been there in like 25 years and it's still amazing!! ”
“ Great tasting food and friendly atmosphere. Nice big windows to see the planes flying in and out of the airport. The portions are a little small, but everything is under 10 bucks. Highly recommend. ”
“ Love the small town cafe vibe. From what I see, people fly in from all over just to come eat here. The food is great, the service is amazing, and the price is right. If you are into aviation, definitely is a must see and experience. ”
“ First time here. Excellent food, reasonable priced, great service from Denye. You must try this place, you will be happy you did. Also, others in the restaurant had lunch type items whick looked delicious. ”
“ Sky Rider Cafe is a genuine rural Arizona dining experience! My wife and I had lunch and chose the country-fried steak entree and French dip sandwich. The dining atmosphere is very American, with many hanging models of WW2 airplanes and photos of aircraft on the walls. Service was excellent, and food portions generous. In another recent visit, I had a wonderful sausage & egg breakfast, with biscuit & gravy! Please visit Sky Rider Cafe, as these little spots of Americana are rapidly disappearing. ”
“ The Sky Rider Cafe is like a 1960s Impala. Reliable, classic, and you know what you’re going to get. Great atmosphere at a little old diner tucked away next to the KAVQ FBO. I feel like this is a must stop while flying in with your friends or family. Grab a hot cup of coffee, pancakes, and the works and leave heavier than you came so be sure to go light on the gas. ”
“ We have lived in Avra Valley for 24 years, and have been going to Sky rider for as long. The place has been a favorite for us and our family visitors and friends. Never had to complain before. I don't like to do this. This morning we arrived at around 11am. Between breakfast and lunch. I ordered a basic. Eggs, bacon, home friies, rye toast. Over easy Eggs were fine. That's it. Bacon was cold, rubbery. Rye toast was cold. Butter couldn't melt. If it WAS butter. Home fries: taters were crisp and fresh, but some old soggy peppers were thrown on top to make them home fries,I guess, Instead of just frozen fried potatoes. So,frigging disappointed. I got breakfast rush leftovers. Gonna be a while before I go back. BTW. Service was great. Our waitress was excellent! ”
“ If you like airplanes, this is the place for you. We were a large party, and they were able to get all the meals out in a timely manner. I enjoyed my omelet ”
